John Stever, master guide, was born and raised in Pioche, Nevada.  He has hunted the surrounding areas his entire life, and knows them incredibly well.  John began guiding for Purple Sage Outfitting, a family owned business, in 1999 where his passion for hunting as a profession began.  John loves meeting new people, and finds a lot of joy especially in guiding first-time hunters such as youth.  His experience with hunting, passion for the sport, and knowledge of the areas surrounding Pioche are ideal in this profession, and promised to provide an ultimate guided hunting experience.
